I do it because I don’t view smiles positively. I view smiles as jeers. Apes or chimps don’t like smiles either. I like looking at a smiling person with a blank expression until their smile falters and disappears.
whereas, I cannot fake a smile, if I am sad, angry, upset, distraught, I cannot smile, no matter the sillyness, funniness or comedy. I am just dead inside and cannot FAKE a smile or any facial expression while in this condition. I also, however, cannot NOT smile back when someone smiles at me IF I am not in the throws of distress.
Smiling back, as a reflex, is something I learned to do at an early age, it keeps others from pursuing their interrogative instincts to try and 'fix' what is 'wrong' with me and keeps me from having to talk to them, when I would really rather not. It is not a 'fake' smile but it IS a reflex and therefor, not sincere, so that kinda does make it fake, but I am not feeling unsmiley so I am not considering it a truly 'fake' smile, like when someone says, 'why can't you just smile and be happy?' and you fake flash them the teeth to shut them the fuck up.
I do truly enjoy watching others, children, having a good time and will be caught watching and smiling at their play, joy and giggling, these smiles are sincere. I do try to not be seen smiling and enjoying others having a good time, because, doing so can get you looked at funny at best and accused of being some pervert at worst. I like to stay inside my own room so I do not have to deal with such things.

And does that make you feel good somehow - making their smile falter and disappear?

know you´ll never apologize for insulting us, the dissidents
i dont apologize to harmful misinformation , denying covid exists is like denying cancer or aids exists.
sorry its not an opinion based thing its a fact.
people died from covid in the millions. Youre disrespecting them and their families, This isnt a matter of dissent. You can say what you like but its a medical condition recogninzed by the CDC and World health organization.
It can happen to you or family.
All the best to you.

I get very anxious and uncomfortable when I am near people, so I tend to smile a lot for that reason. Even when I'm supposed to be mad at someone I get the urge to smile if I'm facing them. It's very annoying.

Most of the time, I knew they're not capable of understanding my issues and I have a very hard time trusting anyone, so I discard their offer in an instant.

Sometimes we do things for others, to make them feel good, even thought we don't gain anything from it. I will always smile back even thought I'm a walking corpse.

You do you, but I'm glad I'm not filled with that kind of negativity towards my fellow man.
Yes be thankful you weren’t abused as a child. I bet your suffering is relatively minor.

I assure you, if my suffering was relatively minor, I would not be on this site. But I'm not trying to be rude. Not trying to say you don't have valid reasons for being the way you are. I think the older people are just trying to say that a person can survive the loss of love - that no person, man or woman, is worth ending their life over. You do not want to hear that, I know. I've been both suicidal and homicidal regarding love, so I feel you. This world sucks, for sure, Grab some happiness when you can. If you can.

Yes. I used to try and make the effort to smile at others, but in most of those instances they would not reciprocate. But now that I do not smile at others they will sometimes take offense to the fact that I will not return their friendly facial expression.

One criticism that I have been given is that I do not look at other people at all. I try to keep my eyes focused on the ground as much as possible, and certain indivduals seem to feel that this is abnormal. So, earlier this week, I decided to look at a stranger who was walking past me for literally less than a second... do you know what happened? He became very aggressive. This man continued walking past me to the end of the street, and then shouted: "Who the f**k are you looking at?!? you f**cking tw*t!" This is the reason why I have tried to avoid interactions with other people - for many years - in the first place. It probably does not help that I live in the North-East of England where quite a lot of people are already abrasive and easily angered as it is.

There is just no pleasing some people! You cannot ignore others, but they can ignore you; apparently boundaries and consent only works one way.

I love ignoring people when they try and talk to me. I look at them and say nothing. It’s such a rush!

ahhh yess body shaming and make someone feel even more suicidal for his main reason.

not to mention it got nothing to do with the topic, reported .

lol theres no reasoning with these people, they will deny facts🤡

as the saying goes, you cant reason someone out of a position they didnt reason themselves into in the first place.

you both have been reported for spreading misinformation which causes harm to people and society.

you cannot deny facts and medical evidence, anti masking conspiracy leads to death and spread of illness.

its not an opinion.

I never wear mask haven't gotten vaccinated and haven't been sick in years. Last time I caught the flu was whenever i took a flu vaccine. To each their own. I'd rather just stay away from everyone anyways.
