Yes. It is illegal to encourage, give advice, or 'cause' (lol) someone's suicide.

Make sure you practice good opsec and don't release personal information. Don't do it. Be aware that while this site may be immune from the rage of US government and ban hungry administrators of Reddit. You are not. We are not. So make sure that you do not give up any personal information that can result in you being found/caught.

Ok informing people of the least painful/most effective methods shouldn't be illegal. But honestly Melchert-Dinkel was fucked in the head for firstly posing as someone else and requesting the live videos of people killing themselves. That's a little fucked.
