Nothing in this material world can give me peace. Nothing makes me happy. I'm so numb and disconnected from everything. I dont know how to wake myself up. It's like I'm already dead. I dont know what to do, I dont want to suicide.

I'm disappointed naps dont work anymore for me. I also have some kind of insomnia now where I can only fall asleep late in the morning

How? What can they do?

you bet I’m gonna sound cliche (or radical) in a second.

there was a whole “happiness” discussion here a while back. I take this to mean the lack of meaning or connection our society offers beyond the sole option of consumerism. I think that could be what you’re trying to say with the original post.

and society is not a “they”. we all are a part of it, we are what constitutes it. without people there’s no society at all, though it’s frequently the social *structure* that jeopardizes our safety, hinders our self-actualization.

social change do be achievable. promise I’m not bullshitting you. I believe in grassroots organizing cuz I’ve been there, done that. doesn’t mean the responsibility’s now all on you - no. it takes social awareness, it takes our solidarity. applies to SS’ situation as well.

Idk what you think about this. cliche or radical. whichever way you look at this now, might not be how you’d be seeing it later. I’m only speaking from my experience. and I’m not here to counsel you lol. feel free to take it with a grain of salt. your own thoughts at this matters more than a few words I can say.

Even the people I call the “normal people” also feel a bit like that, so many ive heard say, I got it all, but always feels like something is missing and I dunno what that is, like a void. Hope you can sleep it off like zeronothing said. Take each day as it comes. I always feel awful in the mornings the same was as you.

I feel I've lost my soul too. It's an awful feeling.
Same here
I think I’ve no soul or some parts of it missing, I use to think I was a good person but as life has moved on I find myself staring in the mirror so to speak at a monster. I’m not nice at all and this is partly why I want to leave this what we call life and world.
