Impulse will takeover one day...

I sometimes think of giving life one last chance and packing up and moving to Alaska on the edge of nowhere build a log cabin with a few dogs and live off the land in solitude.

But then I realise how much work that would be and I struggle to get myself out of bed some days so it’s never gonna happen.

Take me with you.

I sometimes think of jumping on board with someone who just packs his stuff and moves to Alaska on the edge of nowhere and builds a log cabin with a few dogs trying to live off the land in solitude but with me there to annoy them.

No, but seriously. While that scenario isn't exactly what I've imagined, the general idea is what I think about. Just living with someone, not having to worry about society, and have them take care of me. :)

I recently looked into living in Alaska as they have the Alaska Permanent Fund there, plus I get disability. But, same - doing simple things can be too much of a struggle for me, and starting my life over somewhere new for the hundredth time is off the cards at this point. That was for my 20s, and for a person with hope for the future.

Your more than welcome to come if I take the plunge :) I’m only 26 so not sure if it’s worth one last shot yet! Got the doctors tomorrow... my method is arriving this week! So I ll see how things go.

You're kind! Hey, I started a PhD at 26, and moved to a new country at 28. But my 20s were my golden decade, so -

I think it's good to hang in there as long as we can. Why not? We have the right to life. If we have the will to, we should make the most of it (do whatever on earth we want to do). Perhaps you've got a grand adventure ahead of you yet. Your method can probably wait for you.

Yeah I’ve done a lot for my age !! Definetly feel older than what I am.

All for pro choice so people can make whatever decision they want ! Not sure about that I see my future as very limited. But who knows hope isn’t there yet, see how it goes I suppose.

Brazil. I'd contact my friends there to get me fake documents. I'd sell everything I own, travel to Mexico and make my way south with cash purchases.

Alaska is a good backup. But I don't have access to fake documents there.

I should have said 'another grand adventure up ahead'... I wouldn't want to make assumptions about how much you have or haven't done!

I see my future as very limited, too. Well, I see it lasting another couple of weeks :heh:
