My username is a combination of two old nicknames, yangire and yun. If I remember correctly, yangire is a term to refer to an archetype of a sick or crazy character, a friend of mine started calling me that because I once let out a scandalous and uncomfortable laugh.

I've gotten to know people with a very intricate background to their usernames, which made me curious. What about you?

Mine’s an anagram of another username I used to use for various games. It also had the added bonus of having the word doctor in it which people who know me would know I hate.

There are scaffolds outside of the building I live in. Twice now a mother bird has made a nest in that scaffolding and I got to witness her day by day sitting on her eggs until they hatched, and I watched those babies grow until they were big enough to fly away. I left food for her and them every day.

In my soul, it is the most significant thing I've ever done.

Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and gray
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and the daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colors on the snowy, linen land
Now, I understand what you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds in violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colors changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artist's loving hand
Now, I understand, what you tried to say to me
How you suffered for your sanity
How you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do
But I could have told you, Vincent
This world was never meant for one
As beautiful as you
Starry, starry night
Portraits hung in empty halls
Frameless heads on nameless walls
With eyes that watch the world and can't forget
Like the strangers that you've met
The ragged men in ragged clothes
The silver thorn of bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow
Now, I think I know what you tried to say to me
How you suffered for your sanity
How you tried to set them free
They would not listen, they're not listening still
Perhaps they never will

Sorry if this answer is too long, there are a few reasons why I chose mine.

1. Nemo is my real nickname.

2. Nemo means 'nobody' in Latin and Greek. I wish I never existed... so in other words I wish I was nobody .

3. If my above wish came true, then I would be 'nobody' to my brothers, sister, and friends...

... So, when I ctb this summer, 'nobody' will ctb, so noone will be hurt by my absence.

4. The movie Finding Nemo ofc 😅

5. The movie Mr. Nobody, which is about immortality, death, and how the tiniest life choices can have huge ramifications on other people. (The main character is called Nemo).

I feel like a nobody because I have been existing but not living.

Ironweed is a novel about a depressed, mentally ill alcoholic hobo during the Great Depression. It was made into an even more depressing movie in 1987. Seems to fit, except for the alcohol issues. And that used to be an issue for me, but hasn't been for years.

I had a dream few years ago, i was standing in an isolated open field and it was slightly dark, THICK NAVY COLOURED FOG was all over the place , and someone came from no where and hugged me so tight, it wasn't painful rather than overwhelming feeling of love and peace. When he let go, i instantly dropped dead. I can't forget that dream and every night I wish it happens again.

That sounds like a beautiful dream... It would be a peaceful way to CTB.

When I have a good dream (rarely) I wish i could stay inside it and not wake up...

What do you think the blue mist represents? Depression?

Sure is. The reason I'm in the position I'm in now is because of choices I made then.
