So their original music video (at bottom) was apparently so 'shocking' it sadly got banned / more attention than the incredible fkg track...

Irrepressibles // in this shirt //

Irrepressibles // the lady is dead //

Their electronic stuff is sublime, melancholically sad /&manic today... maybe will drop it on the electronic music thread...

Please do post it in there. My best thread by far; I feel it is graduating to resource status soon.

In a mood thinking about my ex.

George Jones-He Stopped Loving Her Today :heart::heart::heart::heart::heart:

He said "I'll love you till I die",
She told him "You'll forget in time"
As the years went slowly by,
She still preyed upon his mind
He kept her picture on his wall,
Went half-crazy now and then
He still loved her through it all,
Hoping she'd come back again
Kept some letters by his bed
Dated nineteen sixty-two
He had underlined in red
Every single "I love you"
I went to see him just today,
Oh but I didn't see no tears
All dressed up to go away,
First time I'd seen him smile in years
He stopped loving her today
They placed a wreath upon his door
And soon they'll carry him away
He stopped loving her today
You know, she came to see him one last time
Aww, and we all wondered if she would
And it kept runnin' through my mind
"This time he's over her for good"
He stopped loving her today
They placed a wreath upon his door
And soon they'll carry him away
He stopped loving her today
Love George

Love George

Got into George about 5 year's ago because of He Stopped Loving Her Today.
Another good one. The Grand Your :heart::heart::heart::heart:

Step right up come on in
If you'd like to take the grand tour
Of the lonely house that once was
Home sweet home
I have nothing here to sell you
Just some things that I will tell you
Some things I know will chill you
To the bone
Over there sits the chair
Where she'd bring the paper to me
Sit down on my knee and whisper
Oh, I love you
But now she's gone forever
And this old house it will never
Be the same without the love
That we once knew
Straight ahead that's the bed
Where we'd lie in love together
And Lord knows we had
A good thing going here
See her picture on the table
Don't it look like she'd be able
Just to touch me and say
Good mornin' dear
There's her rings all her things
And her clothes are in the closet
Where she left them when
She tore my world apart
As you leave you'll see the nursery
Oh, she left me without mercy
Takin' nothin' but our baby
And my heart
Step right up come on in
Come on in

This incredible creature does something to my soul... was just born when this came out,
I discovered her at artschool in my teens...

The first three tracks on Lionheart are my go-to tracks when I'm sad.
Listening to it today.... wander how many times I'll get to hear them before I go...

"Its been such a long week.
So much crying.
I no longer see a future.
Ive been told when I get older
That I'll understand it all.

But Im not sure if I want to.

Running into her arms
At the school gates
She whispers that Im a poor kid.
And granny takes me on her knee.
She tells me Im too sensitive.
She makes me sad.

She makes me feel like an old man.
She makes me feel like an old man.

They took the game right out of it.
They took the game right out of it."

"I spent a lot of my time looking at blue,
The colour of my room and my mood:
Blue on the walls, blue out of my mouth;
The sort of blue between clouds, when the sun comes out,
The sort of blue in those eyes you get hung up about..."

Moving back to the city, from the farm this weekend.
The logistics of killing oneself.... leaving my dogs behind fucking hurts, but I just can't stay...
They'll adapt anyway... im not worth missing.
Have taken an apartment overlooking my favourite childhood park I plan to ctb in... so things are going to plan, funny :: the universe fluke found me this place...
anxious, heady compulsions... and Kate Bush.

"Emma's come down, she's stopped the light shining out of her eyes,
Emma's been run out on, she's breaking down in so many places
stuck in low gear because of her fears the skidding feeling skidding wheels
the skidding of her wheels she feels

Her heart is there, but they've greased the road..."

Loved this, triggered so much stuff / when the dad grabs the kid by the hair at the scruff of his neck... my messed up memories, need to remember to forgive. To be free... I love music for this...
Thanks.

Back at you, much love...
Alice in Chains / Down in a hole...

Music is beautiful for so many reasons. Alice in Chains is a classic that triggers family memories for me. But rather delightful ones of my deceased mother. I suppose we were both able to share some here today

Being a little ironic for this community, but after playing the video game "To the Moon", the song "Everything's Alright" has stuck on my mind for a while - the game itself is wonderful as well.

Quand je me tourne vers mes souvenirs,

Ils savaient rire, tous mes amis,

Mes amis me demandaient : « Pourquoi pleurer ? »

The house where I grew up - Françoise Hardy
English lyrics:

When I turn to my memories
I see again the house where I grew up
A million thoughts comes back to me:
I see roses in a garden
There, where the trees used to live,
now the city is there
and the house, the flowers I loved so much, no longer exists
they knew how to laugh, all my friends
they knew so well how to take part in my games
but everything must come to an end in life
and i had to leave, tears in my eyes
my friends ask me "why do you cry?"
and "traveling the world is better than staying.
You'll find everything here you cannot see,
an entire city that sleeps at night under the lights"
When I left this part of my childhood,
I knew already that I was leaving my heart
All of my friends envied my luck,
but i still think of their happiness,
of the carefree way that made them laugh
and it seems that I hear myself telling them:
"I'll come back one day, one fine morning amid your laughter,
yes, one day I'll take the first train of memory".
Time passes and here I am again,
searching in vain for the house I loved.
Where are the stones, where are the roses,
all of the things I held dear?
Of them and of me, no trace remains.
Other people, other houses have stolen their place.
There, where the trees live, now the city is there
and the house, where is the house where I grew up?
I don't know where my house is,
the house where I grew up.
Where is my house?
Who knows where my house is?
My house, where is my house?
Who knows where my house is?

Moss cow
Friend your behind is small
Turn my old scorcher boy
Write me a sign
Moss cow
Don't swear beach milk again
Give this salt boy a grin
Indeed I'm so high

Mouse walking, hey, hey, hey, let's eat pizza man
Natasha, how how how is this you
How varnish, hey, hey, hey, gonna slay them
Often boy brew that, hey, brew this, hoh

Moss cow, Moss cow, filthy raids and handymen
Deutschland is my surest friend, ho-ho-ho-ho-ho, hey!
Moss cow, Moss cow, dying to see that is so gross
Master eats the rifle loads, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, hey!
Moss cow, Moss cow, leave the shmick, eat caviar
Veggies, aunt Sue's christmas art, ho-ho-ho-ho-ho, hey!
Moss cow Moss cow, come and hack and rub the fish
Feast on lips, the sock is limp, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha

Moss cow, Moss cow, don't do banana right
Spiegel gets hot inside, don't see "Das Boot"
Moss cow, Moss cow, Verline is ill again
Dare I believe again, hi it's Winnie Pooh

Mouse walking, hey, hey, hey, let's eat pizza man
Natasha, how how how is this you
How varnish, hey, hey, hey, I believe her
Often boys ancient, hey, ancient boar

Moss cow, Moss cow, filthy raids and handymen
Deutschland is my surest friend, ho-ho-ho-ho-ho, hey!
Moss cow, Moss cow, dying to see that is so gross
Master eats the rifle loads, ha-ha-ha-ha-ha, hey!

@Shadowplay this song is timeless. What a great artist he was. Been digging deep on his live shows, people fainting and crying. No other singer did this.

I think "The Prayer" fits our state of being very well, and it's a beautiful song performed by two beautiful artists, as well.
