Right. Apparently society cares enough to plaster that number but not enough to not put you in chains against your will. You are mentally ill after all. And youre the reason why because you don't take responsibility of not having a negative attitude and suicidal. Don't dump your problems on others just keep silent to yourself and suffer because yeah everybody has their own problems of course to deal with . Fair enough. I still feel like I don't matter. Fair enough I guess I'm all alone and nobody cares. Fuck you I got mine right? You got a problem? Fix it yourself. Can't? It's all your fault. Sorry.

Cool I'll just suffer I guess. Go to therapy and do something about it? Just pay someone to dump your problems on so they are compensated for the trouble but yeah they probably don't actually care or could understand your plights. After all you're the one suicidal. And let's not forget if you're pessimistic, outsider, and divergent from society they will only try to mold you into becoming a functioning member of society. Because what else can you do? It's not magic it's your problem. Nobody can do it for you after all. It's your fault.

A permanent solution to my problem? Yeah I want that. I can't help myself if I could I just would but when you reach out you just realize that it just boils down to helping yourself anyways.

The way I see it, people are naturally selfish and they only care about what directly affects them. It is true, that nobody really cares about your problems. People only seem to care once you are gone, as your death affects them.

Very true. Know one cares. “If only he said something” or “if only she said something”. “Just be happy”, or “stop thinking about it” etc the same old bs. Humans are programmed “life is beautiful” for self preservation. They don’t care about anyone else’s emotional pain, traumas, or illness. “Just get over it” however they want you to suffer until natural death to “spare” their emotions and interest.

Yup yup yup. Learned this the hard way. I'll never forget when I let the mask slip enough that my boss forced me to tell them I was feeling suicidal, and their immediate response was to tell me to "put it on a shelf" lmao. They're the ones who made me say it.
At this point I rarely am honest with anyone anymore. No one actually wants an answer when they ask how you are. They only want an "I'm good, how're you?".
It is simultaneously hilarious and painful how little people pay attention to others. It wouldn't take an ace detective to figure out I'm lying when I say I'm doing well.

All about "I"! "How does your death affect me?~" Sigh...the lack of self-awareness is astonishing.

I am sure they patted themselves on the back extra hard that day. Notice how the note does not even have a contact number or a way to reach them.

To me this picture summarizes "suicide prevention" fairly well. It is just feel good words that are absolutely meaningless in the end.

I may have a stupid view but I think some people do truly care about you who may just be strangers maybe that's just being to optimistic on this world but tbh most people don't ever care and if they do it's probably cause they've been there I suppose maybe that's stupid I don't know a bit unsure on it.

It could be on the back purposefully. That way it could buy the person more time and despite what I don't know, but sounds intuitive, SI may only take a few seconds of reconsideration to kick in and this simple act of spotting the card and flipping it may turn them away, either because they found it in the first place, or because a material means of last hope were provided (a number to be sure).

A solution relative to the situation might work. A suicide hotline for stopping the vast majority of us will be laughable. But if it was a family member, relative etc, now that's where you start playing the long game.

I can only make that out, provided I am correct SI is an adrenaline rush, never have experienced it.
