So I tried last night, and did achieve unconsciousness for about 2 seconds, but my head ended up jerking up and came out of unconsciousness.

Just wanted to share my experience.

I think I’ll have to go the SN route, my survival instinct will kick in with hanging.

Not unles you go for full suspension then there’s no chance of a survival instinct kicking in

That’s true! Unfortunately there’s no where in the house or around the house that I could do a full suspension without getting found fairly quickly in my surroundings.

What size rope did you use and where did you place the knot

The “rope” I used was a long piece of bedsheet I cut into a strip and twisted.

I was able to fall unconscious so it worked to a certain degree.

I placed the knot behind my neck.

Thank you do you think a smaller rope would do the job

I found an 8mm climbing rope on Amazon has a 4000 lb weight limit
One of the files I read said a smaller rope works better even though a larger one seems more comfortable
