According to the PPeH:

Take 30mg Metoclopramide & 800mg Cimetidine/Tagamet
30 mins later, take SN dissolved in 50-100ml of water

There are no other details, like when to stop eating.

I have a few questions about this method.
  1. Stop eating prior to overdose?
  2. Weight--Dose ratio?
  3. Alternative H2 antagonist (like Ranitidine)? -- I can't buy Cimetidine/Tagamet
  4. Alternative anti-emetic to Metoclopramide? -- Risk of EPS/Extrapyramidal symptoms
  5. Medication interaction? -- I take Amitriptyline & Propranolol
  6. Diazepam to induce sleep & avoid seizures?

Can't help with all of them but I would assume an empty stomach would be best, maybe 24hours after eating.

What I have learnt so far from this site is
1. Fast for 8 hours prior to sn
2. As far as I know there isnt really one, but good question something I would like to double check as well. I thought it was just 15g.
6. I am going to take 30mg of benzo to induce sleep but i'm not sure if that will help with seizures
Not sure for 3, 4 and 5

I think I know which post you are talking about. It was a guy who did an impulsive suicide attempt with SN, but he didn't do any research. He had no pain pills, no antiemetics, and he did not take a lethal dose. He took 1.25g, if I remember correctly. His sister didn't find him, he called his sister to take him to the hospital because of the cramps.

no, it was a different guy. He took the recommended dose, recommended by EXIT. Failed, because that dose is too low.

Can I ask you if you will take painkillers and benzos, too? And if so, what and what quantities? I plan to take benzos to remain unconscious enough until the nitrite has its effect. But I am not sure how much I should take and in what order.

15g isn't enough?
I don't know, I am no longer interested in the method.

this is from EXIT:

The salt is very soluble in water. To prepare a lethal dose of the
salt, 15gm is dissolved into 50 ml of water. There is no significant
adverse taste and vomiting is unlikely (BULLSHIT!). However, it is advised
that an anti-emetic ( 4 x 10mg of metoclopramide - Maxolon)
be taken as a single dose, 30 minutes before drinking the nitrite
solution.

He took 15g?
High enough purity sn?
He took anything else?
How long before he contacted someone or was found?

with all due respect but overkill is just a nobody reporting an (imaginary?) person that supposidely took 15g of SN and failed.

take those ''stories'' with a grain of salt as you can't confirm if it is true first and you don't know the exact details of what happened.

There is exactly zero verifiable data on SN. These stories are all we have. Some people want to make this appear differently but I gave up asking for sources because it's always "a guy somewhere".

True, I like to think of SN as peaceful, esp. with alcohol or sedatives. But the truth is, it could very well be an extremely uncomfortable method.

Does anyone know which medications NOT to take, because they would reduce your chance to ctb with SN?

Sodium N is always reversible with medical intervention you need to not be found.
