It seems like the most effective method if you jump from at least 200ft.

If you drink beforehand, wouldn’t that eliminate the fear factor?

It’s pretty much guaranteed at that height. I fell once and thought I was going to die. Time slowed down and I remember feeling acceptance and peace when I thought I was done.

I think for me, it's the fact some poor random soul would find a really messed up body which would traumatize them, then at the funeral - no one could exactly see that body and pay their respects as it's probably in pieces.

My dad passed away earlier this year because of cancer but from what I saw being his son, at his funeral folks want to say goodbye to a body that is there, intact.

Suicide in my opinion should be as private and as respectful as possible.

For you? None, really. For the people who are left behind? Plenty. There is no body left for the family, and someone will have to clean the disgusting mess of blood, flesh, bones, poop and whatever else left behind. Not to mention the people walking through the street will witness the, once again, disgusting mess of things that was once you.

It is a disrespectful and inconsiderate method in my books. If I wanted to jump, I would jump from a bridge into the water. It is not as fail proof, but the aftermath also isn't as gross. Also, with methods like hanging or carbon monoxide poisoning being options, jumping, either from a high building/place or in front of a train just seems unnecessary.

I agree with what people are saying here. For me if I want to ctb then I will do it in a way that traumatises people as little as possible. Just because I want to end my life doesn't mean I should make other people's worse. That is why I would/will use inert gas hypoxia.

I don't jump because a variation of what you said. Instead of imagining how others will see my dead body... I imagine myself. I think in my body smashed in the floor, that awful image makes me completely unabled to jump. I know it sounds stupid because I wouldn't be witness of it.

--------------

Others having to deal with ylur body is unpleasant yes, but if you literally don't have any other method or you just don't have the courage for doing it then I think you could do it.

Make sure of nobody is near, you don't want to smash somebody who was walking under you and leaving her or him with fatal injuries. Also, if you fail and survive your life since this moment will be extremely fucked so calculate it very well.
For the rest it shouldn't go wrong...

Thing is, there are other methods.

The thing is, like you said, you wouldn't want to be a witness to it, who would? I'm not saying you can't eliminate everyone from finding you but you can at least make it as respectful and as private as possible, that poor train driver doing his regular shift, he or she doesn't need to be helpless in stopping that train only to run over and completely obliterate that person do they ? Same with that walker who finds a piece meal body who jumped off a cliff. How would they feel after ? It honestly sounds like you have suicidal thoughts not anything else.

Not every person is a bad person. Everyone deserves respect until they rob themselves of the right by disrespecting others.

Why have respect for a species that casted you aside at your most vulnerable?
Sometimes my hate against them makes me doing things that I regret in the future and no taking care of anyone. I'm afraid of harming again an innocent person again as I did in the past.

There are no innocents. For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of the ubermensch

That species believe it or not still have feelings.
I felt first hand over the past month the full wrath over my failed suicide attempt, so many people were confused, wanting to help or angry, you just imagine if you were successful, adding on that person who found a messed up body who jumped.

There are good persons too. There are very hard to find but they exist.

I used to hate everyone too. And one day I fucked it up.

People finding a mess isn't a con to me.. This is an imposing view, but one i think good enough to be imposed, and it is: People ought to see such things. To live looking only at good things, to try, is foolhardy and poisonous, imo.

So for downsides: Living and suffering! So jump from real real high. <3
